Former Premier League rivals Harry Kane and Mohamed Salah both hit the same career milestone last night as they reached 50 Champions League goals.

Bayern Munich striker Kane found the net twice in his side's emphatic 4-1 second-leg victory over Atalanta, while Salah's beautifully struck shot rounded off a resounding 4-1 aggregate victory for Liverpool over Galatasaray.

So, which other players have hit this landmark - and beyond - who has reached it the fastest?

Who has scored the most Champions League goals?

Salah and Kane have some way to go to come close to breaking the all-time record - though reaching 50 goals does mean they have entered the all-time top 10.

Cristiano Ronaldo has racked up an astonishing 140 goals in the league, with Lionel Messi close behind at 129.

Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski is currently still playing in the competition but is a long way behind the pair, with the Poland international on 109 goals.

Who has reached 50 Champions League goals the fastest?

It took Salah 97 Champions League appearances to reach 50 goals - becoming the first African player to do so - and 66 for Kane.

That puts Kane in joint-third with Lionel Messi, while Salah is joint-ninth fastest with Raul.

Erling Haaland averaged just over one goal per game in order to score 50 goals in only 49 appearances.
